Learning Mentor Induction and Training Programme

Description
This 6 day course will provide participants with a comprehensive description of the Learning Mentor role. It will address all aspects including:

  • Setting up the programme in an educational environment
  • Working with children and young people with specific needs such as anger management, bullying and low self-esteem
  • Working with parents and key staff
  • Evaluating and recording of the Learning Mentor provision

Participants will also complete a portfolio enabling them to achieve L4 University accreditation.
