This course provides participants with all the knowledge, skills, and objectives necessary to act as First Aiders within the workplace.
The First Aid at Work certificate is awarded by the First Aid Industry Body in accordance with Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations and is valid for three years. A copy of the latest edition of a First Aid manual and delegate pack will be provided for each participant.
Attendance is required on all 3 dates.
Successful candidates will be awarded the HSE First Aid at Work certificate.
Practitioners will:
- be confident and prepared to deal with First Aid situations as and when they arise at work
All interested staff from all schools. This course is open to anyone wishing to train as a First Aider.
Candidates must be physically fit with the ability and temperament to undertake First Aid training

This is a full 3 day course and participants are expected to attend all 3 days
This course will cover the effective management of the Governing Board’s work, including:
- Establishing professional and supportive senior managers
- Ensuring that all the meetings are run effectively
- Managing meeting and agenda settings
- Ensuring the Governing Board is prepared for an Ofsted inspection
- Developing secure succession planning to ensure business continuity
Chair of Governors will:

- be able to ensure that the whole Governing Board becomes an effective and strategic group which robustly holds the school to account at all levels
- be able to secure an effective professional relationship with leaders at all levels

- 2 Year 12 organic - Preparation and distillation of cyclohexene
- 3 Year 12 organic - Demonstration of the dehydration of ethanol
- 1b Year 13 organic - Purification of an organic solid: recrystallisation
- 4 Year 13 physical - Electrochemistry
- 1c Year 13 organic - Melting point testing
- have secure skills and knowledge of some of the key practical elements required within the A Level Chemistry curriculum.
This meeting will support Mathematics Subject Leaders to develop and strengthen their strategic role as middle leaders in their school. It will provide up-to-date information on current research, policy and practice.
It will support Subject Leaders to explore ways of continuing to improve the quality of teaching and learning in mathematics and provide opportunities to share effective practice.
