Legionella Awareness

Training is an essential part of good legionella management.  Legionnaire's disease is a potentially fatal form of pneumonia which can affect anybody.

Organisations need to be sure that they meet the requirements of the revised ACoP L8: Legionnaire's disease: the control of legionella bacteria in water systems.

Organisations need to be sure that they meet the requirements of the revised ACoP L8: Legionnaire's disease: the control of legionella bacteria in water systems.

Our legionella awareness training provides essential information to enable good control and management of the risks that legionella can pose in domestic water systems.

By the end of the course delegates will have a better understanding of where legionella bacteria can be found and how to monitor and control the potential hazards. They will also be able to understand the source of the bacteria and how it affects their health.  They will have improved knowledge of the legal responsibilities of preventing the bacteria and how to implement control measures to stop it returning.
