We would like to invite primary Computing Subject Leaders to attend a series of 3 network meetings that will take place over the course of the academic year. The meetings will be a fantastic opportunity to meet colleagues from different schools, share good practice and discuss current research and initiatives.
The sessions will be run by Tim Lings, the Director of Digital Learning at Heronsgate Primary, as part of the work with RBG EYFS/Primary Strategy Group. Tim has a wealth of experience teaching and leading computing and has been recognised for the work he has done with digital learning at Heronsgate. He is passionate about working with Computing leads across Greenwich.
The sessions will include:
Opportunities for leaders to reflect on their leadership of Computing and identify areas to develop back in school
Collaborate and share best practice with Computing leads across Greenwich
A close look at progression of different strands of Computing from EYFS to YR7
A deep understanding of substantive and disciplinary subject knowledge
Understanding what excellence looks like
Opportunities to connect between sessions using a digital platform
We encourage subject leaders from all Greenwich primary schools and with all levels of experience to join us. KS3 computing teachers/leads are welcome to attend.
