**SEND: Building blocks of behaviour**
This in person classroom based training by early
childhood specialist, Kerry Murphy, who has lived
experience of neurodivergence and disability,
focuses on providing consistent and personalised
co-regulation which holds space for children to
learn to maintain and regulate their internal and
external worlds. This course explores the origins of
children’s behaviour including stressors and the
environment and consider practical yet meaningful
strategies of support.

Autism and Anxiety
A day to:
- explore the mental health need commonly linked to autistic children
- explore current research in this area, including more vulnerable groups of children.
- provide participants with resources and strategies to use with this group of students
- inform staff how to signpost students/families to external support
Pupils will:
- have staff supporting them who can understand and support their mental health needs
Staff will:
- be more confident managing anxiety in autistic students, and have the necessary skills, knowledge and experience and a range of strategies and resources to draw upon
Schools will:
- have skilled staff to support this group of students, and signpost to other agencies as appropriate

**Introduction to Safeguarding**
This in person classroom based training is
essential for anyone new to safeguarding andchild protection, if there’s been a gap since
basic training or a safeguarding incident has taken
place. It provides foundational knowledge for
Level 2: Intermediate Safeguarding.
Course Aims: This course equips participants with knowledge & skills to
- know the different areas of abuse - physical, emotional and sexual abuse and neglect
- recognise signs and respond to appropriately
- understand the significance of following policy and procedure
