Direct Services to Schools

Future Apprentices

Whether you are just starting you career, looking for a change, or progressing in your current role, Royal Borough of Greenwich (RBG) ApprenticeshipsPLUS schools' training programme may be the ideal route.

Co-created and delivered with schools for the skills they need now and in the future, our wide range of apprenticeships provide a great platform to learn and develop your skills, while working in a school or business setting.  With Education, Business,  and Early Years pathways we can help you select the right course for you.

An apprenticeship is a job with training and development aligned to an apprenticeship standard and consists of three core elements:

  • Paid work and job training
  • Off the job training
  • English and maths accreditation (If not already held)

As an apprentice you would spend 4 days in the workplace gaining practical experience and 1 day working on continuing professional development or  ‘off-the-job training’ accessing a range of valuable learning opportunities designed to inspire passionate, capable, and dedicated staff.

Apprenticeships typically last between 13 and 24 months before an end point assessment.

Schools often have a number of apprenticeship vacancies and advertise via their own websites, therefore please review school websites to see current vacancies that may be suitable for you. Royal Greenwich careers page may also have some opportunities advertised.
