Whether you are aiming to train your existing staff, or to recruit new candidates Royal Borough of Greenwich (RBG) ApprenticeshipPLUS training programme may be the ideal route. Co-created and delivered with schools for the skills they need now and in the future, there is a wide range of apprenticeships available that give apprentice employers the opportunity to nurture people of all ages to work in schools.

Employers have told us that apprenticeships have provided a cost effective and flexible way to retain and motivate staff, recruit new talent and widen the diversity of their workforce. With Education, Business support and Leadership qualifications from level 2 to level 7 we can help you select the right course for your needs with up to 100% of training costs covered by the apprenticeship levy.

An apprenticeship is a job with training and development aligned to an apprenticeship standard and consists of three core elements:

  • Paid work and job training
  • Off-the-job training
  • English, maths and ICT accreditation (if not already held)

Apprenticeships typically last between 13 and 24 months before an end point assessment (EPA).  Apprentices spend the majority of their time in the workplace gaining practical experience and typically have one day off-the-job training, accessing a range of valuable learning opportunities designed to inspire passionate, capable, and dedicated staff.

There is also the opportunity to support  pre-apprenticeship or traineeship placements.  These are shorter courses with a work placement and training to open up opportunities for individuals.

We are recruiting all the time and have candidates waiting to commence a new profession/learning journey. If you’re interested in employing an apprentice, or supporting a pre-apprenticeship or traineeship placement, please contact us on the below details:
