Direct Services to Schools

Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Service

The SEN and disability service (SEND) is divided into four main areas to meet the needs of SEND children and young people:

1. SEND Assessment and Review Service
2. SEND Social Care Services
3. SEND Outreach Support Services
4. Educational Psychology Service

These SEND services work together to empower school staff to improve the outcomes of children with complex learning needs, which include Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), dyslexia, Down syndrome, deafness and vision impairment. Experienced and specialist staff will provide schools with a range of comprehensive programmes of assessment, training, support and resources that enable pupils to achieve the best possible educational outcomes.
